1996. CLEAN inside and out. Clean title. Luxury 5TH-WHEEL RV with ONE DOUBLE SLIDE in living room area and ONE SINGLE SLIDE in bedroom. ONE LARGE porch-style awning and ONE WINDOW awning. SOLID ROOF, no leaks. Built for cold winters. Great amenities as a travel trailer or trailer park home. Opinion statement: Best use as "stationary" (private property or trailer park) home. ROOMY bright interior. Trailer looks relatively new.
TWO 7-gallon propane tanks. Fire extinguisher and smoke detector. Microwave, 3-way refrigerator, 3-eye stove with built-in oven, coronet kitchen counters and large double white sinks, white tile floors in kitchen and bathroom areas. Carpeting in bedroom and living room areas. (NOTE: Kept the dealer's plastic on most of carpet because live on dirt road; a plus because looks brand new under that part; still have to steam clean the exposed part.) Stereo karaoke radio system with speakers system throughout unit. TV, VCR. Non-smoking unit. Light wood cabinetry. White decor. Queen size bed. Private toilet stall with overhead toiletry cabinet. Good size shower with ledge for bathing products or sitting. NICE LAYOUT. Sliding glass mirror closets: Bedroom grooming/writing shelf looking outside or close for privacy and mirrors. Mirrors galore. Lots of inside storage, including under the bed. Stack-able washer/Dryer hookup available or use area as full-length closet space. Good interior condition. A/C, heat and three ceiling vents. TV antenna. Bright and airy feeling. Bedroom has a dome skylight, but you can't see through it--just lets more light in. Lots of windows and wood blinds. UNDER BELLY SOLID. Has area in front for a generator. All wires look clean and new. Plenty of outside storage compartments and an outside shower hose. Has all its manuals.
This is a high-end unit: Original suggested retail when new was $58,998!!! One of the top of the line Avion models made. Built to withstand Alaska winters. Quality of workmanship has been toted as among the best. One of the last Avion models made by Fleetwood (known for their quality of mobile homes). I've seen comments from Avion advocates that Avion models made later than ours were not made with as good a quality as this one. EVERYTHING WORKS!!!! (except front right power jack and needs new tires, at least on right side--sun side).
Per Nada: "A company originally founded in 1955 as Romany Coach, hitch and fifth wheel trailer builder Avion were designed for high durability and comfort. Truck campers were also produced by Avion Durante briefly during the 1960s mimicking the style of the trailers. Avion's use of aluminum, aircraft-like construction in trailer construction was believed by some to be similar to the popular Airstream brand products.... After 47 years since its start, Avion concluded production of trailers after the 2002 model year."
Length: 36' Width: 8' Axles: 2 Weight: 12,490 Self-contained
Issues: Front leveling power jack had to be removed; also, wind kicked the top bedroom vent off hinges: FIXED (but could use another "spinny" wheel). Two-axle tires, fair. Owned since Summer 2004; never traveled in; lived in for one year then used mainly as storage / sitting area. SOLD "AS IS." No expressed or implied warranties; we are private owners.
